This is the girl painting "marilyn monroe pin up" ( [link] ) at the right side of the photo.
i sketched her that day, in the subway while she was talking to the other girl in the picture and now i felt like i had to do something more with it. she was not wearing earrings and of course the colors don't match her clothes but due to rembrandt's and vermeer paintings we have been doing i couldn't resist on NOT being influencied by them but of course what Iris herself is as a person, was defenetly what led me to do this. not rembrandt, not vermeer. i guess this is a bit personal.. lol pen sketch + adobe photoshop |
